Is the Link to candidates etc. link still valid/relevant? -FZ —Preceding undated comment added 14:41, 14 June 2004 (UTC).[reply]

Bias

[edit]

While recent edits have have added much, the article is currently written in opposition to the election of Schwarzenegger. While such opposition should be noted, I'm going to try and rewrite with a more NPOV. Alba 15:40, 21 January 2005 (UTC)[reply]

California "Army"

[edit]
Actually, the Governor of California is the commander of a 'militia'. Its called The California State defense forces and the governor is the commander n chief that that organization. Today, the defense force is nothing more than a couple of medic units, but as late as WW2, it had actual fighting forces. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Morrison1917 (talkcontribs) 14:15, 4 February 2005

Possible future governors

[edit]

Unless verifiable sources can be found for that part, it should be deleted. - Peregrinefisher 19:20, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And, when writing Arnold's biography, don't forget to add his 'Significant Connections' to the small town of Wigan, in the United Kingdom, where, according to Wikipedia Wigan article, he lived for four days?! 80.192.242.187 19:33, 2 January 2007 (UTC) JemmyH.[reply]

Governor's Seal

[edit]

The seal is incorrect. That is the seal of the State of California. The Governor's office has it's own seal, much like the difference between the USA and PotUS. I will attempt to correct it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.50.223 (talk) 14:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:Br-freeze.jpeg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Br-freeze.jpeg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Governor removal

[edit]

Why is this here in such detail? It's basically a footnote, like the governor's mansion - which isn't even mentioned - or other constraints in the office. Shouldn't it be placed near the end of the article, by the list of facts, instead of so prominently in the description of the office? 76.21.107.221 (talk) 04:18, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
