List of school districts in Rhode Island
Appearance
This is a list of school districts in Rhode Island, sorted alphabetically.
The majority of school districts are controlled by town governments, with some by city governments. As of 2002, the Central Falls School District was directly controlled by the Rhode Island government (and had been since 1991). There are also regional school districts, and the U.S. Census Bureau only considers those districts to have independent governments.[1]
