Tempi

I didn't change this: "Normally the first movement is quick-paced, while the second is slower; here the two are reversed." But isn't Andante quite normal in a first movement?: rather it's the rapidity of the second movement that surprises. --Wetman 19:55, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Piano Concerto article states that the general model is a "quick" Sonata-like movement, while the second is slow and expressive. So I think that the reversal statement still holds true. I'm not aware of any piano concerti that open as slowly (or as interestingly) as this one. Mordant21 22:21, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
