Shouldn't there be some memorialization that Ian Fleming had a character mentioning The Dynamo in his James Bond novel "From Russia with Love"? [signed] FLORIDA BRYAN

Where is all the glorious history?

[edit]

There is nothing about Maslov's victories, nothing about Lobanovsky.. No Blokhin, no Buryak... Shevchenko is mentioned in passing as is Rebrov-player... What is this? 47.17.208.88 (talk) 02:28, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Invasion of Czechoslovakia and big politics in football" section seems horribly mistranslated somehow

[edit]

Uh, so, just came passing through here randomly, and I gotta say, the part of the history chapter called "Invasion of Czechoslovakia and big politics in football" is... I mean, I don't know if the writer has a loose grasp of English grammar, if it's some kind of auto-translation word by word, or if someone has tried to translate part of the Ukrainian article verbatim, but the grammar is all weird, the word choices are odd, and I... Something is badly wrong with that entire section.

I mean, it's honestly a slightly weird section to spend this much time on in this article anyway, but I'll let that slide if it at least was written properly. I cannot fix it because I can neither read Ukrainian, nor do I have enough knowledge of Dynamo Kyiv history; nor do I feel able to decipher what's gone wrong here. But something's not right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.249.104.34 (talk) 09:49, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
