[edit]This page is undergoing heavy first drafting at the moment. Other contributors are solicited and welcome. I will be integrating material from the IISH (www.iigs.nl) shortly which will add to material on the formation and splitting of Solidarity. Also some anecdotes. Will improve the structure too. I hope you do, As a holding entry it passes for now but it's not really NPOV is it? Far too much of a puff piece I'm afraid. Mind Solidarity weren't bad in their day.

- Dear Jock,
- Nope, its nowhere near NPOV. I'd invite some ancient Healyites over to give their perspective on the formation, but I don't know any (and doubt they'd be open to the idea of an NPOV entry on a split). One of the problems is finding genuinely critical material on them, because they weren't bad in their day. An angle through Soc ou Bar's membership's decent into pomo doesn't fit--because Soli avoided that decent. Classlessness maybe, but their half-and-half class and order-giver order-taker thing pretty much resembles class. If you've got a contribution, even if its just a spiel, I'll edit it in. Handy hint for talk pages, four tildes in a row ie, ~ gives an automatic name / date thingie ie: Fifelfoo 22:54, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Was this the same group that used to publish the 'Journal of Libertarian Socialism in the 1960s?
unsourced since 2010
[edit]I removed some content that has been challenged for 5 years, and it has since been restored without debate or sources. I made several attempts to find a RS supporting Libertarian Socialism and failed. I suggest the editor self revert, and/or join the debate. Darkstar1st (talk) 19:18, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
Some sources are out of date
[edit]At the time of this writing (12/9/2018), some of the sources are dead links. I have a link to one of them, the interview about the bloke's time in Solidarity, from the Wayback Machine. I'm unfamiliar with Wikipedia editing politics, so I'm going to leave it here: http://web.archive.org/web/20160610212852/http://flag.blackened.net/revolt/disband/solidarity/recollections.html. 99.33.199.167 (talk) 21:30, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
