- Delete. Opinion. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 21:53, Aug 18, 2004 (UTC)
- Wiki went down as I was adding this to VFD. This is a self-confessed opinion piece. Was up for speedy, but I don't think its that bad. DJ Clayworth 22:04, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Clearly it cannot stay as it is, but would it be possible to address and counter some of these points under a different title? Or what about a redirect to Supply-side economics or something? That would get rid of this rant right away. Also, any usage of the term "big goverment" should be immediately deleted from an article. It's a meaningless right-wing catch phrase (if you mean "taxes" say "taxes"). -R. fiend 22:11, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Exceptionally dull-witted essay. I can't see the need for a redirect, because the phrase wouldn't really be searched. If people are looking for that information, they'd be better off on any of the hundred right wing blogs or at Washington Times or something. Anyway, easy delete. Geogre 00:54, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Doesn't even try to be neutral or factual. I think when your article's title starts with "The Benefits of..." that's probably a good clue that it's not encyclopedia material. —Triskaideka 00:57, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: person is attempting to keep this article; even labelled it as an opinion piece. -- Grunt (talk) 03:46, 2004 Aug 19 (UTC)
- Delete and refer IP address to admins for possible banning. Repeated blankings of both the page and this VfD discussion; IP has a history of vandalism. Reported to WP:VIP. • Benc • 04:20, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. 100% opinion piece. (In addition, unwikified and written in a familiar style unsuitable for an encyclopedia.) David.Monniaux 08:23, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete - opinion, and not well-reasoned opinion at that. - TB 09:44, Aug 19, 2004 (UTC)
- While I mantain this article is rubbish, I still think the overall subject (ie pros and cons of corporate tax breaks and the like) is worthy of an encyclopedia, when presented in a NPOV way. I haven't seen anything like that in any articles, though I could have missed it. That said such subject is almost irrelevant to this rant in the sense that there's really nothing salvageable here. Perhaps a section somewhere under corporation tax could mention this controversy in a fair way, much unlike this person did. Also, anyone find it odd that this guy was been blanking his own article, and ironic that we pro-deleters have had to resore it? -R. fiend 18:52, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- This topic should get treatment, but in a neutral manner and certainly under a different title. Austin Hair 03:20, Aug 22, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, I agree with reasons stated above. MikeCapone 03:07, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
