Question

[edit]

third or second biggest lake of Finland? see: List of lakes in Finland --Slawojarek 14:46, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Second biggest, according to SYKE (2006). Correcting. Mysid 08:46, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lahti

[edit]

Lahti is not on the shore of Lake Päijänne. 84.248.39.41 (talk) 14:16, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This seems to have been corrected. Lahti is very accessible by water through the canal. 85.76.111.123 (talk) 17:32, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"In Jyväskylä"

[edit]

This is miseleading to the point of downright wrong, Päijänne reaches much farther than Jyväskylä. The city center of Jyväskylä is accessible by boat from Päijänne by the strait of Äijälänsalmi, but the actual lake there is called Jyväsjärvi. I think the Jyväskylä infodump right in the beginning is out of place. 85.76.111.123 (talk) 17:53, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and removed this part of the 8 September 2024 edit, the old version was better. 85.76.111.123 (talk) 18:05, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
