Check out an example of a pamphlet: 'Pamphlet of the Permanent Penguin Removal' by the NAAP.
Concerning "Note to translators"
[edit]The german "Flugblatt" is the english "broadsheet". Cf. William A. COUPE: The German Illustrated Broadsheet in the Seventeenth Century. 1967. -- kaubuk, 18.5.2006, 21.55

Another remark to the "Note to translators"
[edit]Quote from the article, Correct translations include "Flugblatt" and "Wurfschrift" or "Schmähschrift" in German.
No, there are two mistakes in this sentence: The word Wurfschrift is absolutely unusual in German and has only got 132 google hits most of which are clones of this wikipedia article and therefore not actual examples for the use of this word. The word Wurfschrift is not even mentioned in the authoritative Grimms Wörterbuch der Deutschen Sprache, vol. 30, with the headwords going from Wurfscheibe to Wurfspieß (col. 2184-85), without any mention of a Wurfschrift.
And the translation "Schmähschrift" is wrong in this context, too. "Schmähschrift" is a synonyme for the German word "Pamphlet" in its derogatory meaning, but not a translation of the non-derogatory English term pamphlet. Therefore, both proposed translations "Wurfschrift" and "Schmähschrift" are wrong and have to be removed; but another correct German translation of the English word is (similiar to Russian) the word "Broschüre" (see also Pons Großwörterbuch für Experten und Universität Englisch-Deutsch, Deutsch-Englisch, 2001, p. 586). --131.220.97.115 (talk) 13:08, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Merge articles in different languages?
[edit]I've just seen a separate Dutch article on 'pamflet', with versions in many more languages than here, but not including English. The two sets of articles should surely be merged as a single one.213.127.210.95 (talk) 14:33, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
Set translation links
[edit]I've noticed that this article exists in various languages, however not all of them are linked in the "Languages" section on the left. Just compare the languages of the English version (current) and the German for example (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamphlet). I've tried to set the links, however I find the interface not really intuitive, so I'm not quite sure, how I'm supposed to do this. And I was not able to find corresponding help pages either.
